The front and back of this urn are made from Spalted Maple. The top and sides are Ambrosia Maple with ocean blue resin running through the centre. A waterfall mitre joint makes that scene flow seamlessly from the top surface down the sides.

No stains or dyes have been used. The rich colours that you see are the natural colours of the finished woods.

Interior and exterior are finished with an Osmo microporous wood oil. The resultant low-lustre finish is smooth, durable, and appealing.

Overall exterior dimensions are about 11.5" x 8.1" x 4.0" (29.2 x 20.5 x 10.2 cm).

Internal dimensions are about 9.9" x 6.5" x 3.0" (25.2 x 16.5 x 7.6 cm).

Internal capacity is 190 cubic inches (3.1 L).

Access is from bottom which is secured with 6 screws.

Exterior:

The top and sides are made from a single board of solid 1/2" (19 mm) thick Ambrosia Maple with waterfall mitre joints. That allows the natural pattern of the wood grain to flow seamlessly around the urn.

Sides are solid 1/2" (19 mm) thick Spalted Maple

The base is Ambrosia Maple.
