While modestly sized, this meticulously handcrafted jewelry box has ample space for a small collection of jewelry and personal memorabilia. There are two rows of padded inserts in the tray for rings, cuff links and earrings.

This box is made from Bird's Eye Maple with legs of Purpleheart. Accents on the top are provided by inlaid bands of Purpleheart and Curly Maple, separated and defined by black veneer.

Except for black veneer, no stains or dyes have been used. The rich colours that you see are the natural colours of the finished woods.

Body -  Bird's Eye Maple with Purpleheart legs
Top   - Bird's Eye Maple with Purpleheart lift. Inlaid bands of Purpleheart and Curly Maple, separated and defined by strips of black veneer.

Finish:

Interior and exterior are finished with an Osmo micro-porous wood oil. The resultant low-lustre finish is smooth, durable, and appealing. Trays, dividers and supports are finished with Danish Oil, a penetrating resin.

The compartments in the lower level are about 1.1" (2.9 cm) deep. The inside dimensions of the compartments are about:-

	Decorative Purpleheart lift on top. Tapered Purpleheart legs. Sides are 3/8 " (9.5  mm) thick Bird's Eye Maple. Top is made from of Bird's Eye Maple, about 1/2" (13 mm) thick, with inlaid bands of Purpleheart and Curly Maple.

Interior:

Brass butt hinges.

Lining is a durable faux-suede woven fabric.

Tray and dividers are made from Cherry.
