While modestly sized, this meticulously handcrafted jewelry box has ample space for a small collection of jewelry and personal memorabilia.

This box is made from Black Walnut with legs of Bird's Eye Maple. Accents on the top are provided by bands of Roasted Maple and Bird's Eye Maple, separated and defined by black veneer.

Except for black veneer, no stains or dyes have been used. The rich colours that you see are the natural colours of the finished woods.

Finish:

Interior and exterior are finished with Osmo TopOil, an odourless hardwax-oil product. The resultant finish is smooth, durable, and appealing. Interior components (trays, dividers) are finished with Danish Oil, a penetrating resin.

Dimensions (approximate): 

Overall exterior dimensions are about 9.9" x 7.1" x 3.8"  (25.1 x 18.1 x 9.5 cm)

The compartments in the lower level are about 1" (2.5 cm) deep. The inside dimensions of the compartments are about:-
(one) 5.3" x 3.8"   ( 13.3 x 9.5 cm)
(two) 2.5" x 4.0"   ( 6.4 x 10.2 cm)

The removable tray is about 0.8" (1.9 cm) deep.  It has four compartments, each about 2.4" x 1.8" (6.0 x 4.5 cm)

Exterior:

	Decorative Bird's Eye Maple handle on top. Tapered Bird's Eye Maple legs. Sides are 3/8 " (9.5  mm) thick Black Walnut. Top is made from laminated pieces of Black Walnut, Roasted Maple and Bird's Eye Maple, about 1/2" (13 mm) thick.

Interior:

Brass butt hinges.

Lining is a durable faux-suede fabric.

Tray and dividers are made from Black Walnut
