This box is made from Curly Maple with legs of Purpleheart. Accents on the top are provided by bands of Purpleheart.

No stains or dyes have been used. The rich colours that you see are the natural colours of the finished woods.

Finish:

Interior and exterior are finished with Osmo TopOil, an odourless hardwax-oil product. The resultant finish is smooth, durable, and appealing. Interior components (trays, dividers) are finished with Danish Oil, a penetrating resin.

Dimensions (approximate): 

Overall exterior dimensions are about 9.9" x 7.1" x 3.8"  (25.1 x 18.1 x 9.5 cm)

The compartments in the lower level are about 1" (2.5 cm) deep. The inside dimensions of the compartments are about:-
(one) 5.3" x 3.8"   ( 13.3 x 9.5 cm)
(two) 2.5" x 4.0"   ( 6.4 x 10.2 cm)

The removable tray is about 0.8" (1.9 cm) deep.  It has four compartments, each about 2.4" x 1.8" (6.0 x 4.5 cm)

Exterior:

	Decorative Purpleheart handle on top. Tapered Purpleheart legs. Sides are 3/8 " (9.5  mm) thick Curly Maple. Top is made from laminated pieces of Curly Maple and Purpleheart, about 1/2" (13 mm) thick.

Interior:

Brass butt hinges.

Lining is a durable velveteen fabric.
