The interior of this beautiful jewelry box has ample space for earrings, cufflinks, necklaces, bracelets and watches.
This box is made entirely from Bubinga. The scene in the centre of the top is framed by bands of Bubinga, separated and defined by strips of black veneer.
Except for balck veneer, no stains or dyes have been used. The rich colours that you see are the natural colours of the finished woods.
SPECIFICATIONS
Dimensions:
Overall exterior dimensions are about 11.5" x 8.3" x 4.0 " (29.2 x 21.1 x 10.2 cm)
The upper compartments are about 1" (2.5 cm) deep. Inside dimensions of the compartments are about:-
(two) 3.3" x 7.1" (8.3 x 18.1 cm)
(two) 2.4" x 3.4" (6.0 x 8.6 cm)
(one) 2.4" x 3.0 " (6.0 x 7.6 cm) with two rows of padded inserts for rings, earrings
The drawer is about 1" (2.5 cm) deep.
The inside dimensions of the compartments are about:-
(one) 4.5" x 6.6" ( 11.4 x 16.8 cm)
(six) 2.3" x 2.1" ( 5.7 x 5.4 cm)
Finish:
Interior and exterior are finished with Danish Oil, a penetrating resin. Exterior is further finished with a three-stage wax process, the final stage being carnuba. The resultant finish is smooth, durable, and appealing.

Exterior:
The sides of the box are made from a single board with waterfall mitre joints. That allows the natural pattern of the wood grain to flow all the way around the box. Grain is matched on three corners. Solid Bubinga drawer pulls. Mitred corners reinforced with Bubinga keys. Sides are solid 1/2" (13 mm) thick Bubinga

Top is made from solid woods into an assembly about 1/2" (13 mm) thick. It is then re-sawn into two pieces about 1/8" (3mm) thick which are laminated to both sides of 1/4" (6 mm) plywood. This construction not only makes the interior of the top as attractive as the exterior, but also prevents warping of the top.. |

Drawer sides and dividers are solid Cherry
Interior is lined with durable velveteen fabric.
