The interior of this beautiful jewelry box has ample space for earrings, cuff links, necklaces, bracelets and watches.

The Bubinga in this box has a spectacular grain pattern and vibrant colours. The centre of the top was made by bookmarking a uniquely figured piece of Bubinga. That scene is framed by bands of Leopardwood, Cherry and Bubinga, separated and defined by strips of Padauk veneer

Except for black veneer, no stains or dyes have been used. The rich colours that you see are the natural colours of the finished woods.

Overall exterior dimensions are about 12" x 9" x 4.3 "  (30.5 x 22.9 x 10.8 cm)

The upper compartments are about 1.1" (2.9 cm) deep. Inside dimensions of the compartments are about:-

Finish:

Interior and exterior are finished with Danish Oil, a penetrating resin. Exterior is further finished with a three-stage wax process, the final stage being carnauba.  The resultant finish is smooth, durable, and appealing.

Exterior:

	Solid Bubinga drawer pulls. Mitred corners reinforced with Bubinga keys. Sides are solid 1/2" (13  mm) thick Bubinga
Top is made from solid woods into an assembly about 1/2" (13 mm) thick. It is then re-sawn into two pieces about 1/8" (3mm) thick which are laminated to both sides of 1/4" (6 mm) plywood. This construction not only makes the interior of the top as attractive as the exterior, but also prevents warping of the top.

 

Interior:

Solid brass quadrant hinges.

Drawer sides and dividers are solid Cherry.

Interior is lined with a durable faux-suede fabric
