The interior of this beautiful jewelry box has ample space for earrings, cuff links, necklaces, bracelets and watches. The one tray has eight padded inserts, each of which can accommodate two rings, earrings, or cuff links.

Bubinga has a beautiful grain pattern and vibrant colours. The scene in the centre of the top is bordered with Bubinga bands which are subtly accentuated with black veneer edges. The box "floats" on a recessed base of Bubinga. 

The drawer sides and dividers in the interior are made from solid Cherry.

Except for back veneer, no stains or dyes have been used. The rich colours that you see are the natural colours of the finished woods.

Overall exterior dimensions are about 11.6" x 8.3" x 5.0 "  (29.5 x 20.6 x 12.7 cm)

There is about 0.4" (1.0 cm) headroom in the inside of the top of the box into which jewelry can extend from the trays.

The removable trays are about 0.8" (1.9 cm) deep and have these compartments:-

Finish:

Interior and exterior are finished with Danish Oil, a penetrating resin. Exterior is further finished with a three-stage wax process, the final stage being carnauba.  The resultant finish is smooth, durable, and appealing.

Exterior:

	The sides of the box are made from a single board with waterfall mitre joints. That allows the natural pattern of the wood grain to flow all the way around the box. Grain is matched on three corners. Solid Bubinga drawer pulls. Mitred corners reinforced with Bubinga keys. Sides are solid 1/2" (13  mm) thick Bubinga
Top is made from solid woods into an assembly about 1/2" (13 mm) thick. It is then re-sawn into two pieces about 1/8" (3mm) thick which are laminated to both sides of 1/4" (6 mm) plywood. This construction not only makes the interior of the top as attractive as the exterior, but also prevents warping of the top.

Solid brass quadrant hinges.

Drawer sides, trays and dividers are solid Cherry

Interior is lined with a luxurious velveteen. 
Padded inserts are covered in the same luxurious material.
