This box was made to house a collection of ten sunglasses. It was made from Roasted Bird's Eye Maple with accents of Cardinalwood, Yellowheart and Curly Maple.

No stains or dyes have been used. The rich colours that you see are the natural colours of the finished woods.

Dimensions:

Overall exterior dimensions are about 15.8" x 11.1" x 4.4"  (40.0 x 28.3 x 11.1 cm)

Finish:

Interior and exterior are finished with Osmo TopOil, an odourless hardwax-oil wood finish.  The resultant finish is smooth, durable, and appealing.

Interior components (trays, dividers) are finished with Danish Oil, a penetrating resin.

Roasted Bird's Eye Maple, Cardinalwood, Yellowheart,Curly Maple 

Exterior:

Mitred corners reinforced with Cardinalwood keys. Sides are solid 1/2" (13 mm) thick Roasted Bird's Eye Maple

Interior:

Nickel finish quadrant hinges.

Trays and dividers are solid Cherry

Interior is lined with black velveteen.
