This box was made from Wenge. The top is a unique piece of Maple burl. The box 'floats' on a slightly recessed base of Wenge.

Overall exterior dimensions are about 12" x 9" x 3.5"  (30.5 x 22.9 x 8.9 cm)

No stains or dyes have been used. The rich colours that you see are the natural colours of the finished woods.

Interior and exterior are finished with Danish Oil, a penetrating resin. Exterior is further finished with a three-stage wax process, the final stage being carnauba.  The resultant finish is smooth, durable, and appealing.

Interior of top is Black Walnut.

Black Walnut trays, dividers and supports.
