This box was designed to organize and store waxes and tools for a sealing wax enthusiast.

No stains or dyes have been used. The rich colours that you see are the natural colours of the finished woods.

Dimensions:

Overall exterior dimensions are about 12" x 10" x 4"  (30.5 x 25.4 x 10.2 cm)

The removable trays are about 1" (2.5 cm) deep. The  compartments below the trays are about 1" (2.5 cm) deep.

Finish:

Interior and exterior are finished with Osmo TopOil, an odourless hardwax-oil wood finish.  The resultant finish is smooth, durable, and appealing.

Woods Used:

Roasted Maple, Curly Maple, Black Walnut 

Exterior:

	Mitred corners reinforced with Roasted Maple keys. Sides are solid 1/2" (13  mm) thick Black Walnut
Top was made from two pieces of Black Walnut about 1/8" (3 mm) thick laminated to both sides of 1/4" (6 mm) plywood. Interesecting bands of accent wood were inlaid on the top.

Interior:

Solid brass quadrant hinges.

Trays and dividers are solid Black Walnut

Interior is lined with vinyl leatherette
